Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 July 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Sapida iOS app. By downloading or using the app you agree to them, together with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which governs your licence to use the app. Where these terms and Apple's EULA overlap, Apple's EULA takes precedence for licensing matters.

Not medical advice

Sapida is a self-tracking tool. The correlations, trigger scores and insights it shows are statistical patterns in the data you log — they are not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet or health routine, and never disregard professional advice because of something shown in the app.

Third-party data

Nutrition information is sourced from public databases (Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central) and, for AI-parsed meals, from on-device estimation. Values are provided in good faith but may be incomplete or inaccurate — always check product packaging where accuracy matters, for example with allergens.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits, or use it in any way that breaks applicable law.

Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for losses arising from your use of the app, including reliance on nutrition data or pattern analysis. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: hello@sapida.app
